Personal Support Worker

In only 35 weeks, Windsor Career College’s comprehensive Personal Support Worker Program will give you the skills, certification and hands-on training you need to take on career opportunities in this rewarding and compassionate field. As a personal support worker, you’ll provide home support to individuals during periods of incapacitation, convalescence or family disruption, while bringing aid and peace of mind to their families.

Our program provides a well-rounded course curriculum that reflects the various case-by-case responsibilities of a personal support worker. You’ll learn about body systems, cognitive and mental health issues and safety and mobility as well as how to assist with medications and personal hygiene, meal preparation and household management. Two clinical placements in a community and facility environment provide invaluable hands-on training that will bolster your confidence and encourage success in the workplace.
